Eight & Sand Watch Co.

Eight & Sand is a boutique watch company located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Envisioning to provide their customers with a modern and affordable timepiece born from the collaboration of local designers, artists and watchmakers. To move forward, they looked back. Inspired by the early 20th century, they aimed to create a time piece that's nostalgic, in a minimally modern spin. Focusing on the Ampersand as a symbol representative of connecting the pieces together, the client needed a simplified version of the identity to use and apply in small areas such as the crown, engraved on the back of the watch, stamped on leather or used as a wax seal to create a versatile identity for the company.
