University Boulevard
graphic design, print

The University Boulevard neighbourhood is central to UBC, Vancouver. It is an important social, transit and service hub that is comprised of two components: a world-class underground transit terminal and an above-ground building program. Due to the construction development happening around the area, the UBC Sustainability and Urban Planning department came to us to assist them in creating a hoarding design that would communicate some of the key components embodying this development. University Boulevard would become UBC’s “high street” and the front door to its campus. A brief narrative that spoke about welcoming students, its learning environment, transportation, community, and its sustainable practices were embedded into the design as a way to create awareness to students walking past the perimeter of this development.
